Literatur Review: Kajian Evolusi Paus Balin Secara Filogenetik dan Molekuler

The evolution of Mysticeti (baleen whales) shows a unique transition from teeth to baleen, a specialized keratin structure that allows mass filtering methods to utilize zooplankton as a primary food source. This process includes significant anatomical, morphological, and molecular changes in their evolutionary history. This study examines paleontological, ontogenetic, and molecular evidence to understand the evolutionary mechanisms of tooth loss and the emergence of baleen. Genetic analysis shows inactivating mutations in enamel genes such as MMP20, ACP4, and KLK4 that promote the loss of enamel and teeth in Mysticeti. Paleontological findings indicate proto-baleen in Aetiocetidae as an important transitional stage to modern baleen structures. This study highlights the evolution of unique adaptations in Mysticeti that enabled their ecological success as the world's largest filter-feeding predators.

Analisis Perbandingan Gametogenesis pada Hewan Vertebrata dan Invertebrata

In mammals, the reproductive process involves fertilization between male and female gametes that produce embryos. Gametogenesis, which includes spermatogenesis and oogenesis, is the stage of formation and maturation of gamete cells through mitosis and meiosis division. The purpose of this study is to understand the differences and similarities in the process of gametogenesis in vertebrate and invertebrate animal groups. This study uses a literature study method in obtaining its data. Although there are variations in structure and mechanism, the process of gametogenesis in vertebrates and invertebrates has similar basic principles. Environmental factors such as temperature also play an important role in influencing spermatogenic activity and reproductive behavior in both groups of animals. The similarities in the basic process indicate that gametogenesis is an evolutionarily conservative mechanism, while specific variations reflect adaptation to the reproductive needs of each species.

Rancang Bangun Thermohygrometer dengan Sensor Pemantauan Gas Medik Berbasis Internet Of Things (IoT)

A thermohygrometer is a device used to measure temperature, humidity, and the concentration of medical gases (CO and CO₂) in operating rooms. The temperature in an operating room should be maintained between 19°C and 24°C, and humidity between 45% and 65%, to prevent damage to electronic equipment and corrosion caused by low temperatures and high humidity. Medical gases containing oxygen can also accelerate corrosion. Therefore, a thermohygrometer equipped with medical gas readings is necessary. This study aims to design a thermohygrometer using a DHT22 sensor to measure temperature and humidity and an MQ-135 sensor to detect CO and CO₂ gases. The obtained data is displayed on an I2C LCD screen and sent to the Blynk application via WiFi using an ESP32. Testing shows a temperature reading error of -0.02%, humidity -0.02%, CO gas 0.32%, and CO₂ -0.16%, all within a tolerance limit of ±5%.

This paper aims to find out how the definition of rujuk, how the himpuna of the arguments about rujuk, how the munasabah of the arguments between the arguments about rujuk and how the concept of rujuk according to the compilation of Islamic law. This research is a library study (library resecarh). Primary data sources are obtained by reading the literature related to the discussion of rujuk. The results of the study show that rujuk is an act or utterance of the husband wanting to return to his spouse while the arguments for rujuk are found in the Qur'an and Hadith, there is a relationship between the arguments with other arguments related to rujuk, and the concept of rujuk according to the compilation of Islamic law is in line with the laws contained in the Qur'an and Hadith.

This study aims to examine the relationship between organizational culture, collaboration, and innovation in improving organizational performance. Through a qualitative approach with a case study method, this study explores how the formed organizational culture affects interactions between employees, the implementation of collaboration, and the creation of innovation. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation analysis at PT Citra Kesawan Selaras. The results of the study indicate that an organizational culture that supports effective collaboration can facilitate the creation of innovation, which in turn contributes to increased employee productivity and performance. This study provides important insights for companies in creating a productive and innovative work environment through proper management of organizational culture.

The development of the Western Outer Ring Road (WORR) in Surabaya is a solution initiated to address the worsening traffic congestion caused by the imbalance between the number of vehicles and the limited road length. This study aims to evaluate the impact of JLBB development on inter-regional connectivity and traffic congestion reduction. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method through document analysis and interviews with relevant stakeholders. The findings indicate that the planned 19.8 km JLBB is expected to reduce congestion in the city center, improve accessibility, and strengthen connectivity between Surabaya and surrounding cities such as Sidoarjo and Gresik. The project also has the potential to support economic growth through improved goods distribution and create job opportunities around the corridor area. However, the implementation of this project faces challenges in land acquisition and budget constraints, which hinder the acceleration of development. Therefore, regular evaluations and further coordination between the city government and the private sector are necessary to address these obstacles. The JLBB development is expected to make a significant contribution to smooth mobility, reduce traffic congestion, and enhance the economy of Surabaya in the long term.

The research results show that these benefits are (1) helping participants to make their own decisions, (2) helping participants to work independently, (3) helping participants to face challenges, (4) helping participants to develop self-confidence, (5) help participants to develop the ability to work together in teams. Apart from that, pioneering activities can also help participants to develop good characters, such as: Perseverance, Tenacity, Accuracy, Creativity.

Interest in sports among students plays an important role in maintaining physical and mental health and improving the balance between academic activities and physical activity. This study aims to analyze the interest of Pamulang University students in sports and the factors that influence it. The method used in this study was a quantitative descriptive survey by distributing questionnaires to 100 students from various faculties at Pamulang University. The results showed that the majority of students had a fairly high interest in sports, especially sports such as running, badminton, and football. The main factors that influence this interest are awareness of the importance of health, and support from the social environment. However, there are several obstacles that are also identified, such as time constraints due to busy academic activities and lack of promotion of campus sports activities. This study suggests that universities improve sports facilities and provide programs that can motivate students to be more active in exercising regularly. Thus, it is hoped that students' interest and participation in sports can increase, which will ultimately have a positive impact on their quality of life and academic achievement.

Branding is a strategy that aims to introduce and build an image to the target audience. The DKI Jakarta Regional Library, which is one of the public libraries, offers various information services and library facilities for the public. One of the library branding strategies is through the Night at Library program, an activity held at night in the library. This study aims to determine the perceptions of participants in the Night at Library Volume 6 event. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews and observations. Researchers conducted interviews with participants who participated in that event. The results of the study explained that participants had high enthusiasm for this event. According to participants, the event provided a unique experience while broadening their understanding of the services provided by the Jakarta Regional Library. Then, this event provided a different view of public perception because the library is not only seen as a reading and learning space but also as an interesting place able to provide entertainment. The Night at Library program has proven to be a new branding strategy for improving the image of the Jakarta Library. Through this activity, the library has succeeded in creating a unique experience that strengthens relationships with the community and increases public awareness of its services. Participation and appreciation show the potential for this program to be adapted and developed into an innovative and interactive branding model for other libraries.

Understanding the biomotor components in sports is essential in competitive sports, especially volleyball. This is because many athletes in the non-elite category do inappropriate training programs due to a lack of knowledge of the specific needs of biomotor components in volleyball, so the training program is ineffective. This study aims to provide an understanding of the main biomotor components that need to be developed through the right training program to support maximum performance in volleyball. The research method uses the context review method, a common form of review in literature studies quoted from relevant research results. This study examines the results of previous studies quoted from international journals such as ScienceDirect, PubMed, and journals from various universities in Indonesia. Based on the research results, the main biomotor components in volleyball are strength, speed, endurance, explosive power, flexibility, and coordination as well as agility and balance.

Scouting is a non-formal educational movement that focuses on the formation of character, skills, and youth leadership. Through scouting activities, youth can develop values such as discipline, cooperation, and social awareness. Scouting programs include outdoor activities, skill development, and community service. As a result, scouting contributes to the formation of young leaders who are characterful, independent, and care about the community. Through literature studies and descriptive analysis, this article examines how scouting activities, such as camping, exploration, and survival skills, contribute to the development of noble values, independence, discipline, and leadership. The results of the study indicate that scouting provides contextual and applicable learning experiences, strengthening the positive character of students. The implication of this study is the importance of integrating scouting values in formal and non-formal education systems to create a young generation with strong character and competitiveness.

The sausages available on the market today from beef, chicken, and fish sausages contain little nutritional content. To increase and increase the nutritional content of sausages, you can use an animal protein source with high nutritional content, namely carp. In this study, carp sausage will be created with cornstarch substitution and the addition of moringa puree which has a high nutritional content to improve nutrition in sausages. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of cornstarch substitution and the addition of moringa puree on the sensory properties of carp sausage. The research method used was in the form of a preference test with 30 panelists. The samples to be studied are 6, namely with 25% and 50% cornstarch substitution and the addition of 5%, 10%, and 15% moringa puree. The data results will be analyzed with two-way anova and Duncan tests. The results of the analysis showed that the best product was with 25% cornstarch substitution and 15% moringa puree.

The presence of modern minimarkets such as Alfamidi in Heram District, Jayapura City, has had a significant impact on the sustainability of traditional grocery stores. This study aims to analyze the distribution pattern of Alfamidi and the socio-economic impact on grocery stores in Heram District. The research method used is a combination of quantitative and qualitative through surveys, interviews, and spatial data analysis using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The results showed that Alfamidi's strategic location, modern facilities, and digital services provide a competitive advantage that attracts consumers, but at the same time causes a decrease in traditional grocery store revenues of up to 30%. Alfamidi's uniform distribution pattern with a wide range of services facilitates community access, but increases local economic inequality. Research recommendations include collaboration between minimarkets and grocery stores to create economic balance, as well as zoning regulations by the government to support small business sustainability. Using SWOT analysis, this research provides insights into the challenges and opportunities in maintaining local economic sustainability in the modern era.

Theater is a performing art that presents stories and ideas through collaboration between actors, directors and production crew. In theater, values are depicted to shape character for both the audience and the performers in theatrical performing arts. Students who are members of the student activity unit or theater UKM will develop character when participating in theater UKM. This research is qualitative research which aims to describe the role of theater in forming student character. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews. The results of the research are that theater has a very significant role in shaping the personal character of Muhammadiyah University Maumere students. This creative process forces students to think about looking for innovative solutions, and explore various ideas and ideas. This of course will improve critical thinking and problem solving skills which are much needed in various aspects of life. More than just forming character, theater is also an effective forum for developing students' self-expression. Acting as actors and actresses, students can express their emotions, ideas and views through the characters they play. Apart from that, participation in theater activities can also increase collaboration and teamwork among students. The theater production process involves many people with various skills and roles. Students learn to work together, respect each other's opinions, and compromise to achieve common goals.

Regional Sports Festival (FORDA) II KORMI East Java is a Community Sports Festival where this event is held every 2 years, the organizer of this event itself is the Indonesian Community Sports Committee (KORMI) East Java Province assisted by the organizing committee from KORMI City/Regency who is the host. The purpose of holding this event is as a preparation for the National Sports Festival (FORNAS) for the implementation of FORNAS VIII itself, God willing, it will be held at the end of June to the beginning of July in West Nusa Tenggara. FORDA II itself was attended by 37 Parent Sports Organizations (INORGA) from 34 KORMI Cities/Regencies in East Java Province, the number of participants participating in this activity was 3,678 participants with the following details: 3,162 activists, 292 officials and 224 coaches.

This research aims to analyze the contribution of scouting in character formation, identify the benefits obtained by scout members, and assess the challenges faced in the modern era. Through a literature study approach and analysis of the latest data obtained from books, journals, and articles, this research found that scouting activities not only teach practical skills but also moral values such as discipline, responsibility, and leadership. Participation in scouting has been proven to enhance social skills and a sense of patriotism among teenagers. However, scouting also faces significant challenges, including the lack of interest from the younger generation who are more focused on digital activities. To remain relevant, scouting needs to adopt innovative methods that appeal to the younger generation, such as utilizing digital technology in its programs. This research provides recommendations for the development of more effective scouting programs, thereby attracting more participants and enhancing their impact on national character education.

Analisis Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Tes Keterampilan Teknik Passing pada Bolabasket

Basketball requires mastery of fundamental techniques to enhance effective and efficient playing skills. One of these fundamental techniques is the passing technique. It is not easy for athletes to master proper passing techniques, hence the necessity for training in accordance with the applicable SOP (Standard Operating Procedure). This research aims to determine whether the form of passing technique training meets the SOP in improving athletes' passing skills. The study was conducted quantitatively using the 4D (Four-D Models) development method. The research results include the development of a passing test involving chest passes performed by two stationary athletes over a duration of 30 seconds with a total of 36 athletes. The results of the analysis showed that 55.6% got the sufficient category, 30.6% got the less category and 13.9% got the very less category. As for the good and excellent categories, there are none or 0%. So it is concluded that the development of passing tests owned by athletes is still somewhat lacking, characterized by the absence of athletes who are classified in the good or excellent category.

Parabuangan is a typical dessert from the Kurai region of Bukittinggi, which has strong cultural and customary values in Minangkabau society. However, along with the times, the younger generation, especially Generation Z, is increasingly less familiar with the existence and meaning of this parabuangan. This research aims to design a illustration book as a medium for education and preservation of Kurai's typical parabuangan culture with an attractive and interactive visual communication design approach. The design method used is the Glass Box method which includes the stages of preparation, incubation, lumination, and verification. Data was collected through observation, interviews with traditional leaders, and literature study. The results show that colourful and interactive illustrative designs can increase the younger generation's interest in traditional culinary culture. Expert validation and feasibility testing to the target audience showed that this book is well received and has the potential to be an effective educational media. The implication of this design is the importance of innovation in preserving local culture through a visual approach that suits the characteristics of today's young generation.

The research on the Abdul Haris Nasution Road Redesign provides an in-depth insight into the required pavement thickness, which varies depending on the type of pavement applied. In this analysis, flexible pavement requires a more complex structure, consisting of a 15 cm thick surface layer, a 20 cm thick top foundation layer, and a 10 cm thick bottom foundation layer. The thickness is designed to effectively distribute the weight of the traffic load, thereby reducing the risk of damage to the road surface. For rigid pavement, the analysis shows that the required structure is simpler. Only a 20 cm thick concrete surface layer and a 10 cm thick lower foundation layer are required. This rigid pavement construction has advantages in terms of durability and the ability to withstand higher traffic loads, making it a more efficient option for the traffic conditions on Jalan Abdul Haris Nasution. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that the most suitable construction type for Jalan Abdul Haris Nasution is rigid pavement. This assessment is based on the road classification, road function, and existing traffic conditions. Rigid pavement not only meets technical requirements, but provides economic and operational benefits in the long term. As such, this research provides an important reference in planning and developing more efficient and sustainable road infrastructure in the future.

The rapidly developing and dynamic modern era has also presented various ideologies and behaviors that have caused many people to begin to doubt the existence of God in the universe. This condition also has its own influence on Christian families whose children no longer have high enthusiasm in efforts to strengthen their spirituality, so that practical atheistic behavior or attitudes that no longer view religion and spirituality as important elements in human life often emerge. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of Christian parents in anticipating practical atheistic behavior for the family. The research method applied is literature study and analysis by reduction. The research results explain, Parents have an important role and responsibility in the family, including having awareness in seeking education in such a way as to strengthen the spirituality of each family member to be obedient and believe in God. The example of parents who consistently embody their faith through their daily behavior in the family can encourage children to imitate it without feeling burdened/forced. Christian parents must be able to create a family whose character is in accordance with Christian values, so that it cannot be influenced by heretical ideologies and practical atheistic behavior.

Indonesia as a democratic country rich in diversity, requires a deliberative approach in social interactions to reach agreements and overcome differences. Consensus deliberation not only functions as a method of decision making, but also as a means of developing students' social skills, such as communication and empathy. This article aims to analyze the existence of PAK teachers in strengthening the value of deliberation and consensus among students in schools. The method used is qualitative, where data/information collection is obtained from interviews, observation and literature study. Data analyzed in a reduced manner revealed the results of the study that there are three main roles of PAK teachers through the learning process in schools, including: instilling the importance of deliberation which can be applied through direct teaching, contextualization, and as a discussion facilitator. The application of the value of deliberation and consensus by PAK teachers contributes to academic understanding and the formation of student character. There is a need to develop skills by PAK teachers in facilitating discussions and creating inclusive activities, so that students can experience the real benefits of consensus deliberation in everyday life. With the spirit of upholding mutual deliberation in various school activities, PAK teachers have trained students to be open through conducive communication and willing to accept various forms of differences of opinion so that every decision made is the result of mutual agreement.
